Are you wanting to migrate to Australia?
It seems South Australia may be a realistic option now with the State Government releasing a new State Nominated Occupation List (SOL). The occupations are chosen based on detailed workforce analysis of current skill shortages and the likely demand of those skills in the future within South Australia.
The government of South Australia has released the new list of State Nominated Occupation which has been in effect since the 4th July 2016. This State Nominated Occupation list is available to all applicants, including international graduates of South Australia.
This is a list of occupations derived from the Consolidated Skilled Occupation List (CSOL) that are considered to be in demand in the state of South Australia. Applicants who are seeking state nomination in South Australia under the General Skilled Migration (GSM) program, must have an occupation that features on this list to apply unless they meet the Supplementary Skilled List requirements. However, within 24 hours of the list coming into effect, some occupations have already been closed and are only available for applicants who meet special requirements.
According to Immigration South Australia, the occupations are chosen based on detailed workforce analysis of current skill shortages and the likely demand of those skills in the future.
Various occupations throughout different industries have been opened up for state nomination including chief executives, chefs, general managers, farm managers, restaurant managers, hospitality workers, Information Communication Technology (ICT) professionals, farmers and many more.
The complete State Nominated Occupation List can be found here.
