Changes to the Victoria State Nomination Occupation Lists

On the 10th of September 2013 changes were announced for the Victoria State Nomination Occupation List and State Nomination Occupation List for Graduates. These lists relate to skilled migrants and graduates and outline eligibility criteria and available occupations for Victoria.

These changes include the removal of the following occupations:

  • Accountant (General)
  • Carpenter
  • Carpenter and Joiner
  • External Auditor
  • Joiner
  • Plumber (General)
  • Surveyor.

If you are looking to be nominated by Victoria under one if the above occupations, applications will continue to be accepted until 24th September 2013.

The following occupations have been added to the list:

  • Child Care Centre Manager
  • Health Information Manager
  • Metal Machinist (First Class)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Physicist (Medical Physicist Only)
  • Primary School Teacher (with specialisation in languages).
